I received this book a few years ago as a gift because I was a big fan of "The Drew Carey Show." It's separated into a few different sections, some are about Drew's life, others are jokes, etc... I recall enjoying it but being a bit surprised at the amount of swearing in it compared to the type of humor on "The Drew Carey Show" (but then again, the title says "dirty jokes" so don't be too surprised to see some in there! :-P). All in all, if you are a fan of Drew Carey, it is a worthwhile read to hear some things from his perspective (childhood, etc).

Rated "R"!!!! The beginning is "light", but with really raunchy jokes. I think it gets pretty dark in the end. Presumably the last 3 chapters are just "stories" that Drew came up with, but who knows? u judge

I was in tears of laughter with this book. I've read it a few times.

This is a great book if you enjoy the comedy of Drew Carey! There is a lot of swearing in the book, so if that bothers you this is not the book to read.

This book is great for some laughs. I enjoyed the chapters about Drew's experiences on the set of his TV shows and the jokes he tells. Also in this book, Drew includes a few chapters of fiction he wrote. These chapters a decent stab at fiction writing, although they are not funny and are not meant to be. Overall, this book good!

Very funny book, I love Drew Carey's humor. If you like blue collar comedy, this is it.

WE all know Drew Carey from his award-winning stand-up career and his hit televesion show, bud do we really know Drew Carey, the person?
The Health Conscious Drew: They say that exercise and proper diet are the keys to a longer, healthier life. Oh well. . . Watch for my next book, How I Died While Jogging

We all know Drew Carey from his award-winning stand-up career and his hit television show, but do we really know Drew Carey, the person? In his first book find out about all the many sides to this misunderstood Hollywood star.
The Health-Conscious Drew
They say that exercise and proper diet are the keys to a longer, healthier life. Oh well...Watch for my next book, How I Died While Jogging.
Drew the Lover:
I read the "Forum" letters in Penthouse thinking that I could learn from them. I remeber thinking sometimes when I was having sex, "Let's see now. How did "Surprised in Cincinnati" do it?"... If a Playboy Playmate said in her questionnaire that she liked a guy in tight pants, I would go out and buy some tight pants. If she said she liked well-endowed men with big muscles and hairy chests, I would cry.
And Drew's formula that took him from a lonely teenager to a successful mega-star:
...avoid cheap cologne and cheesy bikini underwear. Don't expect sex on the first date, and never pay more than twenty dollars for a lap dance.
Plus there's a "secret chapter" with punch lines like these:
It has casters. It votes. Henry Aaron used it to hit his 750th home run.
We've let Drew Carey write this book entirely by himself, without the aid of a professional ghostwriter, even though Drew has never written a book before and was kicked out of college twice.
Includes explicit language

Straight off of the back of the book:)

Very crude if you like that sort of thing. Nothing like his show.

This book is in great condition but I thought it was boring. I started to read it and never finished it. Maybe someone else might enjoy it.
