Down Home hospitality can be downright deadly. On assignment at the Georgia State House of Representatives, reporter Kate Mulcay has never had to work aso hard - at staying awake. But when Representative Return Pickett, a Native American legislator delivers an impassioned speech about a border dispute, Kate is all ears. On the lookout for a good story Kate arranges to meet the legislator for a tour of the disputed territory. But the next morning Pickett doesn't show up and when Kate troops over to his neat little trailer she finds it empty and a trail of blood leading into the woods. As a desperate search gets underway, another legislator mysteriously disappears. Kate must work fast to uncover the murderer who has disrupted this tranquil Eden before he, or she, strikes again.
