One of the best books I've read in a long time. It was published in 1997 but in today's economy it is all relevant. The story revolves around a 49 year old man who worked for the same company for 23 years. He wife left him, his children blame him for not being able to provide lots of monetary goodies, and ethics at work seem to have vanished. There's also a touch of romance as Jack begins to live life on his own terms.
