Haunting tale about a woman abandoned by her husband raising three children in the 1950's. The story is heartwrenching at times. Layers are peeled back revealing more and more about each character as the book progresses. Thoroughly enjoyed this one!

I rarely review books but the exception made here is due to the quality of the writing skills of this author. I seldom feel compelled to look for other books by the same author but ive already ordered 2 more books by this author. Her writing skills are exemplary and the story will cause reflection and deep thoughtfulness. Only my second 5 star book!
