Diana Story of a Princess
Author: Tim Clayton, Phil Craig
This volume aims to offer a subtle and honest portrait, without bias and exaggeration of the past. Drawing on new research and specially commissioned interviews, this book explains how a shy teenager grew up to be the most talked-about woman in the world, and why she became such a vigorous critic of the Royal Family.

I'm no expert on how accurate this was, but I bought it because of my interest in Diana.
There were a lot of parts somewhat "dreary" in her life, but all in all it covered her "before-princess" years and the questions about her death fairly well.

I had read this book years ago and with the up coming wedding of her son I took it out to read again. I have to say, this is a great book to start to understand the complex life that Princess Diana led. Her young life, and her courtship with Charles and then the wedding. Extremely interesting. A quick read also. Good for teen readers.
