I was disappointed in this book after waiting so long to get it. I was expecting more of a personal story instead of "he said, she said" story.
Some parts were ok, but I skipped through alot of boring news stories. Everyone said different things so it was difficult to tell which was true or not. The sad part is that she was a lovely, caring woman that gave alot more than she ever got. Her sons are a wonderful tribute to her and will carry on her legacy which is a great blessing.

There is nothing new in this very long winded book. If you don't know Diana's life, there are other books out there that tell the same story in fewer pages. The author, who lives in America, waste time insulting Americans and our way of life, which has nothing to do with the life and legacy of Diana, Princess of Wales. The author critisizes other authors who have made money writing books about Diana. She clearly lives in a house with no mirrors. Ms. Brown, British Airways called, your boarding pass is ready. Choose another book.
Tina Brown delivers a fascinating, comprehensive look at the life of Diana, Princess of Wales, and her continued affect on the British monarchy. Pretty compelling stuff.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It held my interest and I think is a must read for Diana fans.
I loved this book. It was great summertime beachside reading, full of juicy details about British royal life and a sympathetic but unflinching portrait of Princess Di. I totally recommend this book.
Diana was flawed just like all of us, operating on childhood insecurities that influenced her choices as an adult. She was also canny and had a natural empathetic intelligence. What a joy it was to watch her blossom into a confident, glowing, and independent woman. But this book was so long-winded and often outright boring! It could have easily been edited to half its length and still give the reader insight into the Princess. 3 stars.
Yes, I enjoyed The Diana Chronicles. A very good read.
