Many of these desert recipes use box mixes as a base, and call for regular, not sugar free or low sugar versions. There are very few sugar free or sugar replacement recipes. This was a very disappointing cookbook for supposedly diabetic recipes.

There are some really fantastic recipes in this one! I loved the variety of desserts I could make.
