This is a charming story of how one very regal and friendly cat lived in a small town library and stole the hearts of most of the patrons and residents. Certainly makes me wish my community's libray had such a resident! Suzanne Toren's narration has just the right touches of humor, pathos, excitement, and sorrow and made listening to this book very enjoyable. This is certainly a great story for the whole family, anyone who loves cats, or adores the library. Highly recommend this one!

Such a heart warming book. The woman who read the book had a great, soothing voice. She was a perfect pick. I would recommend this to any cat lover. I wish my local library had a Dewey too!

A delightful little book, the story of a kitten dumped into a book return slot on the coldest night of the year, raised by the library staff and adopted and loved by the whole town. Dewey is truly an amazing animal, with the capacity to love everyone who would accept his love. The book gets off to a slow start, with a lot of exposition about the town of Spencer and local history, until you're ready to shout, "Get to the cat already!" but that's my only criticism of the book. The rest of the story is well timed, engaging and even poignant.

Love! Love! Love! This was such a wonderful book. It is definately heart felt and touching. I laughed and cried picturing my cat doing similary things to Dewey; i.e. the "Dewey Carry". I definately recommend this to anyone who has ever had a cat or has been a cat lover.

Wonderful book. This author has written another book soon to be available on Amazon and I am looking forward to it.
