This is a lovely,feel-good story about a remarkable cat. It is the children's version of the best seller,"Dewey, the Small Town Library Cat Who Touched the World".Therefore topics included in the original book such as the author's terrible first marriage, battle with breast cancer, and the painful suicide of her older brother have been omitted, and this book actually focuses more on Dewey himself, which I really like. It is written in a style that will appeal to all ages.
This is a lovely and loving story about a very special cat. It is written in a way that will appeal to all ages and I am glad that this is the first version I read. It does pull at your emotions. Dewey was definitely delivered to the right place at the right time.
