This book is the kind of mystery I love. This the 1st in a series of 3 books. I really loved all the characters even the so called bad characters, like the biker hitman. (except the IRS agents and the fitness guru, they were meant to be hated) The book is funny and real, and even moving. Here is what you find, being overweight plays a big role in the plot, for more than one of the characters. The book wont get preachy about body image or weight. Lot of bigger than life characters. memorable characters. I have all 3 in the series and cant wait to read the next two.
