Having never read any of the previous in this series I was plesantly surprised that it was not necessary in order to fully understand this in the series. This is a cozy read with several recipes inside the book. It is a cute story, very wholesome and probably addictive as this one has some unanswered questions that will surely be covered in the next book. Characters are very likeable if not a little too sappy and wholesome. Interesting events happen in a very small town which is very unrealistic, which is why they call it fiction!

Book #14 in the Hannah Swensen mystery series. I enjoy these books, and especially the recipes. I have gotten some good ones. I must admit that the only thing I really am tired of is her waffling between the 2 guys. It is becoming more clear who really is the best, so settle it already.
The mysteries are fun and light and the town's characters are interesting.

I finally got around to reading a Fluke book. I enjoyed the story even thou there were recipes between the chapters. Yet another story with a twist at the end. I look forward to reading more of her books.

A great series...wonderful mystery....great characters....Hannah and Mike or Hannah and Norman...the question still remains....add yummy recipes and to top it off, a real twist on the last page in this addition (not related to the murder, but don't peek !)
Been a faithful reader and like the writing, characters and plot lines. Hannah has a wonderful, close-knit family with the requisite support, ability to annoy and individual quirks. Of course I'll read the rest of the books as they're released. Just one thing--the Mike vs Norman thing is getting old. Maybe neither is right for her. Some new blood wouldn't hurt. That said, I really do like this series.

Another worthy entry in this series, which is fun to read. These are true cozies--no graphic violence or sex, just humor and scrumptious cookies served up alongside a mystery. The ending on this one really advances the series--can't wait to read the next one.

Loved this book of the series. The characters are wonderful and fun. Waiting for the next one to see what happens with the cliff hanger at the end of this one.
Quick, fun read. Great beach or poolside read. Entertaining, plus I love the recipes, which are fun to try out.
I love these books.
Another good book. Story line is similar to all the other books but there was a twist at the end. Love all the recipes and have tried a few.
