This was a very good book, lots of action and suspense. It was also very eye opening as to the world of drugs and how they affect peoples lives, even destroy them. I would highly recommend this book.

Great audio version of this classic Lisa Scottoline book. Barbara Rosenblatt does a 5-Star job of narrating every character differently. She truly is in a class of her own when it comes to audio books.

The story is about a young federal prosecutor who ends up witnessing a murder when she goes to meet with her confidential informant. She becomes friends with one of the key people in the case and they go on to solve the murder.

It takes place in Philadelphia but Scottoline has changed the names of real places to fictitious ones (which was annoying to a lifelong Philadelphian like me); however, people not familiar with Philly's neighborhoods, schools, etc. won't even notice.

This is the unabridged version and definitely worth listening too.

Ok story, horrific narrator. The main character in this novel seems to be just like the character in another of Scottoline's books - Daddy's Girl. I'm starting to wonder if she can come up with another female character type. Anyway, back to this story. It's ok, a bit annoying at times, but definitely provides some entertainment. What really drags this audiobook down is the narrator. This is the second time I've heard Barbara Rosenblat chewing gum (or perhaps she has some kind of terrible saliva problem?) while narrating a book. IT'S AWFUL. I kept having to turn it off and take a break from it for several days at a time because the chewing or whatever she's doing is just that hideous. I know now for sure that I will never listen to another audiobook read by Barbara Rosenblat again. I can't knowingly subject myself to such horrors again. Please, Lisa Scottoline, don't let Barbara Rosenblat narrate any more of your audiobooks.
