This author is the Grandfather of the Elimination diet--a diet still utilized by allergists, infectious disease experts, pulmonologists and GI physicians across the nation when trying to identify food allergies in adults and children. I extrapolated further and used his methods for two breast-fed colicky babies--with great results. Although an old book, the methods still stand the test of time.
