Another great book by Brenda Jackson, the queen of romance. Danielle Timberlake Foster is still reeling from her husband's sudden death when she discovers that she wasn't the only Mrs. Foster. Her husband, Marc, had two other wives and was leading a double life. When her brother's best friend, Tristan Adams steps in to give Danielle a shoulder to cry on, Danielle finds that her childhood friend is enticing. When Tristan offers to father the child she has always desperately wanted, Danielle is torn between her dream and her fear of getting caught up in another bad situation with a man. As things get steamy between Danielle and Tristan, she is forced to realize that love is unpredictable. I loved this story because the characters' love story was based on a history of friendship that blossomed into attraction, chemistry, trust and love. Awesome!
