Another Brodie Farrell mystery - she's a "finder" who locates hard to find things, sometimes more than she wants to find.

This is a lively mystery with an irascible heroine---Brodie is sort of a grouchy, young Miss Marple crossed with a banty rooster. First book of this series that I'd read, and now I really want to find the others!

From back cover:
An enterprising woman who earns her living by locating things that are hard to find, Brodie Farrell is not easily shaken. But when her estranged friend Daniel Hood puts a For Sale sign on his house and disappears without a trace, Brodie is at loose ends and miserable. Now someone is terrorizing her.
It begins with a brick through her windshield, a stolen handbag, then a firebomb in her car. A disgruntled client? Or worse, Daniel himself? Brodie knows her friend wouldn't hurt a fly. But does she really know Daniel at all?
Only by digging into his past does Brodie finally understand all of his dark secrets--and realize that she may not be the only one in danger. But even her resourcefulness proves futile when the mask of her stalker comes off--in a place where no one may ever find her . . . until it's too late.
