This book dealt with a lot of issues I care about, and overall I agreed with the author's stances...but this was a book that should have been written by a scientist and properly cited. It was not. Grant's sources were often blog posts from activist groups as biased as he was claiming his opponents were. Beyond that, he resorts to personal attacks, belittling those he disagrees with, but not pointing out why they are wrong. Where I wanted to see the scientific foundation for his claims, all I got was self-righteous blather. very disappointing.
