This book was not exactly as I had been expecting, but I liked it nonetheless. The cover gave me the impression of a more modern tale, but this is a regency era story. However, be aware this is one of a series. I picked it up with this edition, and it will stand alone okay, and explains some of what you missed, but if you are particular, you might want to get the first book first. There are two more books after this I am assuming, but the portrayal of the characters they will be about in this book, did not give me interest to follow them further.
Second in series great story cant wait to read the others.
