Loved this book! All the hype around this book is well deserved. It looks at the Creation story and the birth and death of Christ from what you might call "the other side", from a fallen angel's viewpoint. The Demon tells the story of how God, whom he calls El, created humans from clay and then had the nerve to love them MORE than His first creations... Great read. Excellent perspective. D.
I absolutely loved this book. It was a page turner from the very beginning. Even though I know a lot about the Bible it made me think about things I never have before. It was very interesting!
This book draws your attention instantly. It's a beautiful narrative of Gods love for his people. Great twists and storyline.
A bit slow in the beginning and somewhat confusing due to the characters being described and being brought to live in the story line but overall a good read. Just read it when you are wide awake and not falling asleep or you may need to re-read portions to understand what has happened.
