Paranormal teen fiction by David Estes, second in the Evolution Trilogy. The angel Gabriel is a prisoner of the Angels, for having helped rescue Taylor. Taylor and the Demons rescue Gabriel. There is a tremendous show-down between the Angels and Demons.
Sorry to say this series is not anywhere near as compelling as Mr. Estes' other books, The Dwellers Saga, or the Country Saga. I will finish up with the third in series, Archangel Evolution, since I already have it, but recommend that you don't go out of your way to get these. Recommend The Dwellers Saga and the Country Saga over these.
