Though this book is billed as the sequal to Flabbergasted, it actually follows a different character and all 3 books in the series can be read independently.
"Chick lit for guys" is a good way to describe this one!

Great summer read - Christian Fiction - if you've ever been in a church single's group, you'll really appreciate this book! #2 in a series

Christian literature is so often "Christian" first and seldom very good literature. This is a wonderful exception. Neil is an "almost missionary" on furlough to the States from Ecuador. His goal...the girl of his dreams, even if it means dating every Christian single woman in Greensville, SC. Delightful, humorous, touching...told from a male POV but the female characters (and there are many and varied) are all very real, human, wish-they-were-your-girlfriend women. I am reading _Flabbergasted_ now (actually book 1) and have the third book on my Wish List.

This book has many of the same characters featured in Flabbergasted, but easily stands on its own because the central character (narrator) is new to the cast. Besides being generally delightful, it has an uplifting message about how everyone has something to contribute to betterment of the world around us. I recommend it highly.
A well-told story of a missionary looking for the chance to find a date. On furlough he ends up in Greensboro, SC -- a town full of zany church-hopping women, fun, friendship, and surprises.
I love the Blackston's characters, expecially Darcy and Alexis, but Steve and our missionary friend Neil as well.

An easy read with a very light hearted group of charcters. It was fun from start to finish.
I enjoyed this second book. It is not necessary to have read the previous book, but this one does include most of the characters from that book. I must say this has been my first series written from the male point of view, and it's been interesting to see how men preceive women. I definitely want to read the last book to see how the romances bloom.
Another of Ray Blackston's finest. The sequel to Flabbergasted takes us back to Greenville, SC with the new character Neil as he meets the ladies of Greenville and is introduced to the ins and outs of being single in a southern town.
Great 2nd book in his series, I'm looking forward to the 3rd.
Nice second novel!
