I did it! I read 100 book this year! And this is that 100th book. A very fitting end actually... this is the 4th book in a series that I read this year. I don't usually read stuff like this, demons and paranormal or whatever. But once I started reading that first book, I got sucked into Kate's world. I actually found this book in my local Barnes & Noble under "local authors". My friend with me had read it and told me it was part of a series, so I decided to just go for it and bought the whole set. I'm so glad that I did.

This particular one is really good, the ending left me saying "FINALLY" (don't wanna give anything away), but left me wanting to know more... so, what happened? Well? Come on! Tell me! Tell me, darn it!

READ this series. It's really funny, quirky and an easy read. Great for an airplane or beach reading or other light reading. Fabulous!

My biggest complaint about this series is that the next one won't be out until September 2009 :(

As with the other Kate Conner books, this book rocked. I loved watching the dynamic between Kate and Allie as well as Kate and David (Eric). It made me feel for Kate trying to juggle all the parts of her life. As they say in the movies, 2 thumbs up.

This was by far the least thrilling of the "Demon-hunting soccer mom" series. It took quite a while to pick up and when it did the book was quickly over. There were also a lot of questions opened that were never answered. It was like she started plot points but then realized the book was getting too long and just forgot about them.

The next installment of the Kate Conner Demon Hunting Soccer Mom series is all that I expected from Julie Kenner. I can't help but love Kate and her family as she juggles demon hunting, training her daughter to be a demon hunter while hiding it from her wife, being a wife, demon hunting, and an ex husband who is on the scene in a most unusual way. I don't want to give too much away...definitely go out and read this book, but start at the beginning of the series.

Deja Demon: The Days and Nights of a Demon-Hunting Soccer Mom
Childrens parties are about the most awful thing a parent can face for the sake of our children. In this book Kate has to not only handle a party but one for a toddler with the ever present threat of demons crashing the event! Good thing Kate allowed Allie to begin her training, one speed bump in trying to her family life separate from her work for Forza. Another problem is the resurrection of Kates first husband from the dead. He now wants to spend time with his daughter, and since he is currently in the body of a high school teacher there really is no good way to explain visitation.
This time its the High Demon Goramesh who has returned to San Diablo, this time with a full-blown army of the undead and a plan to get rid of Kate before she can get rid of him.
Can Kate trust Stuart enough to confide in him? More importantly can Kate take out Goramest and protect San Diablo?
