Joe writes in a colorful entertaining manner and has a way of reminding me to have compassion for my knucklehead relatives. He was wise and an excellent writer. I will miss him. This book was great, I will probably keep it so my kids can get a clue as to how we came here.

I spent a night in Winchester, too bad I can only remember the motel parking lot. I read about half of this, too much of a good thing for one weekend.
