A little disappointed with this one
Two storylines, 1. Cody deals with the incident with the 'clowns' that cut off his toes, 2. He investigates the murder of a man nailed to the floor
Here's my take on this book---neither storyline ending was satisfactory, the first one really didn't end as the 'clown' will probably be in another book, the other one just didn't ring true for the ending
I kept waiting for the 'aha' moment in this book but it never happened, just under 400 pages it just wasn't a thriller at all, I think it's more of an introduction of the storyline of the 'clown' that haunts Cody and will be in the future books and probably not resolved
So I think is a bummer
