I'm sorry to say that after many years of reliably great stories this series is going downhill. I don't know if it is because Andrew Grant is taking on a larger role in the writing or if Lee Child is running out of ideas, but the characters seem flat and the mystery wasn't really all that interesting.
It's sad what's happened to this character / series. Andrew Child may be trying to make it his own, but he should have stayed with what was successful. He just falls short when compared with the books written by Lee.

I really liked this book. True it rambles in places and drags in places, but overall I really liked it. The Reacher books are just not getting written fast enough to suit me.
