Great book; just as fast a read as all of his books; appreciate that you don't have to read his books in order.
I'm guessing John Sandford actually wrote this one himself, as it is laugh-out-loud funny, compared with several recent Virgil Flowers volumes that were disappointingly ghostwritten by others. Contains many details and quirks that are true to small-town life in Minnesota. A roaring good story with engaging characters, all in all.
