This is one of her earlier books. It features Regan Reilly who is a P.I. Her mother is a famous mystery writer (real life?) On this book, she is the companion of an elderly lady on a cruise. It turns out there is a jewel thief and an assassin also on the cruise. I think the characters in this book are very interesting.
Reagan Reilly is a fabulous story line by Carol Higgins Clark. Humerous mysteries. You'll love them.
the daughter of a successful mystery writer and a P.I. with pizzazz, Regan Reilly is attending her class reunion at St. Polycarp's England wen the long-dead body of her former room mate turns up[ under the bushes. It's a case Regan would love to solve but a prior commitment puts her on a transatlantic cruise.
She shouldn't have fretted. The clues to the crime are following her on the Queen Guinevere. Here, on a ship awash with secret lovers, a fortune hunter, a jewel thief and an assassin, Regan is sailing home-- amd into the hands of a young girl's killer.

I loved this booked, I had read another Regan Reilly book and I had to read book 1 to see how she started. I am looking forward to reading all Regan Reilly books by Carol Higgins Clark
I loved this book! I can't wait to read the next book in this series.
Hello Regan Reilly! I ran out of MHC to read, so I started with CHC...I'll just say I'm a fan!
After reading Zapped and Cursed, both of which I really enjoyed, I went back to this, the first Regan Reilly book. It's rare that I dislike a book so much that I don't finish it, but I realized I was wasting my time here when I was halfway through.
Decked has little of CHC's trademark humor, and it has no suspense. The plot was intriguing, but Carol's writing just dragged on and on... it seems like she took five pages to write what could have been said in two. If you're new to Carol Higgins Clark, whatever you do, DON'T start here. Begin with #2, Snagged, which is much more entertaining and much more typical of her books. I really like Carol Higgins Clark, but this was pretty bad.

I don't usually read anything with out any supernatural sort of characters/plot but this was a really good read. The characters are developed and the story flows well. I would recommend this to any mystery reader or anyone for that matter.
I think because this was the first in the series, it was quite a bit of fun. I didn't care much for others following this.
A story of a 10 year old murder with characters described in a funny way. This book reminded me of an old Agatha Christie book years ago about another adventure on a cruise ship where all the main characters are woven into the story and interlinked. A real cute "who done it" well written as only Carol Higgins Clark can do. I thought it was another good read I didn't want to put down.
Won't strain your brain-good airplane or beach book.
An interesting, first mystery novel.
I like both Mary Higgins Clark and her daughter Carol. Carol's books tend to be lighter. Both are good reads. This is the first of the Regan Reilly series.
P.I. Regan Reilly is attending her 10 year reunion in Oxford. Her roommate that went missing ten years ago is finally found, murdered. Now back to NYC via cruise liner, Regan is not only stuck babysitting Lady Exner, but also trying to figure out her roommates death ... will she figure it out before it gets her killed?
Overall a great book. It was a cozy, easy read that was very enjoyable.

As always, her book was great
A real page turner.
A sensational novel by Mary Higgins Clark's daughter. Every bit as talented as her mother.
Lighter than her mother's books. Reads quick. Enjoyable enough to read the next one. This is the first in the Regan Reilly series.
A mystery by the daughter of Mary Higgens Clark, but Carol has become a well-established author in her own right.
Fast, glamorous, intricately plotted. Just right for a plane ride, the beach or a cruise.
Carol Higgins Clark has a good sense of humor and cute mysteries and this is one of her best.
First novel by Carol Higgins Clark. Great mystery.

Better than her mom. Good, clean fun!
I love this book! It's got mystery, travel, humor and sarcasm, a fast-paced plot, and some great characters. I can't wait to read the rest of the series!
