This story was very much influenced by that famous short story about a man who owned his own island and trapped other men so he could hunt them down and kill them.

"Where is Biff Hooper? The Hardys' friend secretly went off to a survival game camp in Georgia--and never came home. But before leaving he did tell Joe. So when Orville Brand, the camp director, claims Biff was never there, the Hardy boys suspect foul play.

Under cover of darkness, Frank and Joe break into the camp grounds.
