This book was recommended, and I started it a little skeptical. I'm not usually a fan of period-piece mysteries -- I prefer modern times. I enjoyed this story very much. The characters are real and likeable, and the plot, though I found it a little hard to follow sometimes, came to a plausable conclusion.
Oh, my gosh. What a pleasant surprise! I thoroughly enjoyed this book and have another of hers on order. Not only is the story clever, the writing is enjoyable and the time period is my favorite. I was honestly sorry to finish the book.
