abolutely captivating look at brazilian poverty and violence and the social issues that plague the nation of brazil. it focuses particularly on infant death and the philosophy and lifestyle of the brazilian poor, both rural and urban. devastatingly honest, and provides name-protected interviews with the brazilian people.
