Another delightful Hamish Macbeth mystery. I love all of them.

I love every book MC Beaton writes and this is no exception..though I admit to being slightly more partial to Agatha Raisin instead of Hamish McBeth (who is the protagonist here)
MC Beaton series are all great reads!
The nineteeth book in the series.
Something's rotten in the village of Stoyre. Why are all the villagers acting so strangely? Reporter Elsbeth Grey helps Hamish on the case.

I am a big fan of this series. The village constable, Hamish Macbeth is a trip, and so is his dog Lugs. It is just a fun read.
This is probably one of the best in the series! From page 1 it keeps you reading. Hamish takes a ride to a small village to check it out and finds something wrong, evil that is frightending the villagers...he begins to investigate on the sly is almost murdered but now his suspecions are vindicated. Highly recommned.
Great fun and intriguing
Charming, easy read.
I love it when I discover a new mystery series to read. This book was short and kept my attention. The main character is a police officer in Scotland, who wants to keep his job in the ranks, but he is so good they keep threatening to promote him. He uncovers several crimes and mysteries because of his sharp awareness and sensitivity. This is book 19, so I can look forward (or maybe backward) to a lot of good reading.
