Author: William W. Johnstone

It's the center of the outlaw empire of King Petty, a mean-tempered madman who's fast with a gun and as deadly as a stepped-on rattler. Petty and his gang do what they want, when they want. And right now Petty wants the pretty widow of the homesteader...  more »

This book is about 2 blood brothers named Sam Two Wolves and Matt Bodline who fine themselves in a fight for their lives. Snake Creek is a small Texas town ruled by a fierce man known as King Petty. He and his gang of ruthless outlaws do whatever they please. Petty wants to get his hands on a Beautiful young women who is married to a farmer. Sam Two Wolves and Matt Bodline just can't stand by and watch this horrible man do everything he wants. Sam two wolves and Matt bodline have been blood brothers for many years and are now asked for help by the innocent people in snake creek who are terrorized by a ruthless man. Matt Bodline and Sam two wolves bcame blood brothers on the day the ranchers son saved the hafbreed's life. When the law stepped out, these boys stepped in.

I enjoyed this book while reading because it it an action filled book with tons of fighting, love, and mysteries. The young beautiful women has feelings for Sam and his actions for how he reacted on the street against King petty. The reason I recommend this book for you is that if you enjoy western shooting books, then you will enjoy reading this book written by William W. Johnstone. This book contains shooting, violence of course, and romance. This book is an alright book, its not the greatest western book you will ever read. I'm just saying that its a start if you know what I mean. Its not a boring book unless you don't enjoy reading western books at all. I believe that its the perfect book for most of you to read. Death in Snake Creek is by the far the best western book I've read so far. This book kept me on the edge of my seat. I enjoyed the word diction of the novel and the way the story goes. Matt Bodline and Sam two wolves are perfect characters for the story. King Petty has that perfect atittude for a villian.

Snake Creek is a shabby little town, a dot on the Texas map almost as ugly as its name. It's the center of the outlaw empire of King Petty, a mean-tempered madman who's fast with a gun and as deadly as a stepped-on rattler. Petty and his gang do what they want, when they want...and right now Petty wants the pretty widow of the homesteader he just put six feet under.
Snake Creek is also a great place for fishing, especially for Matt Bodine and Sam Two-Wolves, blood brothers and natural warriors who've drifted north for green grass and real trees. But before they can drown some worms, they're suddenly standing in for the law in a place where the only law is King Petty. It's a surefire formula for flying fists and blazing guns...a fight Matt and Sam never meant to start--but are hellbound to finish.
