Not my favorite cozy mystery; no recipes, no ghosts, it's more of a basic detective story. This particular book does share history of the "Rose Rent". Tori, the journalist wannabe author finds a theme for a book to write. This is the first of five cozies by Malmont in this series. On to the next one!
