We got this because R. went to High School with Alan Palliko, the chief suspect in this true murder story. Vince Bugliosi and Ken Hurwitz write in a sort of Hemingway/Jack Webb style and build the story dramatically. Interesting quick read.
I started reading it and lost interest. I only made it half way through. He goes into great detail concerning each character and their history. I just wanted to move on.
This was a good book. It was well written as are all of his books. Loaded with detail about the people involved. It is about a couple of murders and the details of them. However saying that, about half the book was about the trial of the two defendants and was so detailed that it even had the questions and answers of the trial. I thought it got a little tedious the second half of the book. If you like true murders you would like this book.
