One of the half-dozen delightfully best writers of contemporary mysteries. A master in ever phase of the game. This Adam Dalgliesh mystery was one ofher best.
Good addition to the series.PD James creates an atmosphere in her books that draws you in. The death of an expert witness keeps you guessing as there are more than enough flawed characters to suspect.
We need more PD James! For those of you who haven't read them all, be sure to snatch up each one you can!
Suspenseful to the end.
P. D. James = excellence; what more needs be said?
