I've never been disappointed with a Patricia Wentworth mystery. Sometimes I wonder at some of the discussions in them, but it all makes sense at the end. I wish more modern day mystery novelists would write as she does, delivering a great mystery without all the sex and gore. And in this novel it helps if you know your Tennyson, which I didn't.
I have most of her Miss Silver novels, but her many others are either hard to find or too expensive for me.
