I finished reading Death of a Chocolate Cheater by Penny Pike. I enjoyed the first book in this series and this one is even better. The highlight for two days is the Chocolate Festival with a contest at the end worth a $10,000 prize along with a showing on Chocolate Wars on the Food Network. All of the food truck vendors are excited about the festival and the contest. Darcy's Aunt Abby, who owns the Yellow School Bus truck is entering her raspberry whoopee pies. Darcy and Aunt Abby's son, Dillon work hard to help her out. But, there are problems along the way, hidden secrets, bribes and a murder of a judge for the contest. Add a couple of hit-and-run accidents and it makes for an interesting mystery to solve. Jake, the Dream Puff Pastry truck vendor helps Darcy and Dillon to try and find the real killer while Aunt Abby's high school friend is jailed as a suspect. I'm looking forward to reading the 3rd book in this series. I love the characters and want to see how the blossoming romance progresses between Jake and Darcy. Also, the recipes at the end of the book look yummy!
