Here is a writer who is not afraid to use the Thesaurus. When was the last time you read a piece of fluffy smut that used the word "miasma"? I still can't get the vision of the description of post coital heroine's "boneless legs" (a la Family Guy) out of my head. Lucy Monroe, afraid I simply could not "Deal With This."

I really enjoyed this book but I've liked almost everything contemporary that I've read by this author. I don't think any compare to 'Ready' and 'And Able' but this book ties in with that series loosely as well as with 'the Real Deal'. the male in this story is mentioned in 'satisaction guaranteed' (satisfaction guaranteed has the guy mentioned in 'and able') and the woman in this one is seen in 'the real deal' and I wish I'd known that because I had that story already but just hadn't read it and I like to read stuff in order!
this one took a little getting used to at first and I think it's because he was the ex-fiance of the woman in the first book(satisfaction guaranteed) so I was set to dislike him! and this one dealt with hollywood and a commitment phobic woman who was to the point of never spending the night, etc with a guy. throw in some gay roomies with their humor and the book was a good read.
Can't wait for the next in the series!

I enjoyed most of Lucy Monroe's other books, but couldn't get into this one at all. I didn't even get halfway thru it. Hope you have better success!

Ok. Not as good as 1st in series but worth the read just to keep up with series. Romance part was great but a little more depth to story would have been better.
