A medical thriller. A serial killer is not only killing young women, but he is also leaving bite marks on their bodies... his "kiss of death". Police detective, Jake Sinclair, is helped by a smart and beautiful forensic pathologist, Joanna Blalock. The list of victims grows in the Los Angeles hospital and the time between the kills seems to shorten. Time is running out for Sinclair and Blalock.. Is it one of the hospital staff or is it someone from the outside? Sinclair and Blalock have little time to discover the murderer before another young woman is tortured, killed and left with the killer's unique mark.
