Holy smokes! Just finished this book and I am totally amazed by it. I'm so glad this book up. Let me start by saying that this book is for high school aged kids, it is quite tame, and that was totally ok by me. The book was exciting and had plot twists that had me second guessing "whodunit"! Intense with just enough teenage angst! Some foul language, some innuendos. This book has two perspectives, fascinating how it all unravels.

Up until three months ago, everything in sixteen-year-old Camelia's life had been fairly ordinary: decent grades; an okay relationship with her parents; and a pretty cool part-time job at the art studio downtown. But when Ben, the mysterious new guy, starts junior year at her high school, Camelia's life becomes anything but ordinary.

Rumored to be somehow responsible for his ex-girlfriend's accidental death, Ben is immediately ostracized by everyone on campus. Except for Camelia. She's reluctant to believe the rumors, even when her friends try to convince her otherwise. She's inexplicably drawn to Ben...and to his touch. But soon, Camelia is receiving eerie phone calls and strange packages with threatening notes. Ben insists she is in danger, and that he can help--but can he be trusted? She knows he's hiding something... but he's not the only one with a secret.

This was a read in one sitting kind of book. It has you guessing until the very end, who the stalker is. I thought it was going to be someone completely different. I like that there was a little bit of supernatural thrown in. And I thought Ben was very intriguing. I will read the next in the series. 3 Stars

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and read it in one sitting. The beginning is kind of blah and starts out close to Twilight (like a lot of YA books recently). Once you get about a 1/3 of the way through, it turns into a whole different book. The only thing that keeps me from giving this book 4 stars is lack of explanation on a few things. Some WTH type things happen and are just accepted by the characters. Towards the end, the secondary characters really come into their own. I would definitely recommend this for anyone looking for a "Lite" read.
