This is my first Brant book and it won't be my last. I thought the suspense was great and I look forward to the other books in the series. The romance aspect didn't kick in until pretty late in the story, but the mystery had enough twists and turns to keep me engaged. Sometimes paranormal elements irritate me, but it was well-done here with just a little advantage given to the heroine through her dreams.
Another long drawn out boring story.
Only likable character, Nick who is a cop, but the rest are just ho hum, the story might start out okay just to get it going but it just doesn't have any heartstopping suspense, not a page turner just read a page and put it down and wait days later to pick up again, Brant does not capture my attention so I doubt I read anymore of hers.
