This is the third, and newest book in the Molly Doyle mystery series. she has an antique shop in Carmel CA. Murder seems to find her , and she becomes a sleuth once again, before a killer decides to go after her. I have read all three books and realy enjoyed them.

Antiques and mystery in the same book so I thought I'd really enjoy it, but I found it a bit difficult to follow. I kept getting the characters confused and although the young niece is charming, I didn't care much about the main character Molly. Molly is supposedly religious and talks to God, but she also is not law abidding and has a sharp temper she doesn't seem to be able to control and why would she dither about sticking to her marriage vows to a man who is an adulterer, a crook and on the run with his lover from the police, who also got his wife Molly arrested, thrown in jail, and had her reputation destroyed? Also there are words one should not find in a supposedly cozy mystery.
3rd in the series. Molly has a chance at a huge commission when she takes on the job of evaluating a large estate in Carmel. But eventually a skeleton is discovered, leading to other murders, and one of her best friends becomes a suspect.
Carmel, California, antiques dealer Molly Doyle and her precocious niece add up to a neatly plotted murder with lots of local color, potential villians and some great by-the-way antique lore.
Great cozy series. Best read in order. This is number 3. The first two are: Tagged for Murder; Dealing in Murder
The 3rd installment in the Molly Doyle cozy mystery series set in Carmel, CA. Very enjoyable.
When Molly Doyle is hired to seel the contents of two Hollywood set designers, she doesn't bargin on the corpse in the Egyptian coffin and series of murders.
Good book.
Totally loved this book. What a great cozy mystery! I have ordered all of hers, wish she were still alive to continue. I highly recommend reading all of them. The characters are fun and different and it's an easy, delightful read. A++
I have read all her books and just wish she had lived longer to write more. Easy and quick read. Used to go to Monterey/Carmel area on weekends so enjoyed stories of area.
