Do you believe in Jekyll and Hyde, or the monster of Frankenstein? According to Jeff Baldwin, every thinking individual believes in one of these two monsters, and what you believe creates the foundation of your worldview. Because Christians believe in a different monster than the rest of the world, their worldview differs dramatically from all other worldviews. And the difference matters. In an exciting journey that begins with our assumptions about the nature of man, The Deadliest Monster explores the impact that such assumptions have on our beliefs about God, truth, morality, psycology and politics. Not surprisingly, the initial assumption colors all other beliefs, so that the book becomes a fascinating catalogue of the ways in which the Christian perspective better matches reality.

This book is currently unavailable on PBS, but it is a book that I believe should be on the wish list of every Christian person! This book explains, in a very captivating manner, the fundamental difference between Christianity and all other worldviews. The author utilizes literature (Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde and Frankenstein) to portray the two monsters of the world - the *Christian Monster* of Dr. Jekyll (who realized the duplicity of his nature, having both good and bad residing within himself) and the *Non-Christian Monster* of Frankenstein (who felt that he was born good and influenced in a negative manner by society).
