Too dark for my tastes. Seems like this series is going downhill after a terrific start. Hope I'm wrong because even the best of series seem to have books that just aren't good, then go on to more acclaim. The last three I've read in this series are in the "not so good" category.

Not that it's not a decent mystery, but I didn't enjoy this one overall.
