I picked up this book to read the Charlaine Harris story.
Dancers in the Dark - Looking for a job as a dancer, Rue May applies for a job with Blue Moon Entertainment where the male dancers are vampires while their partners are humans. Rue is paired with Sean McClendon, a 250 year old vampire who was once an aristocrat in Ireland. When Sean learns that Rue has a stalker, he decides to take care of the problem for her.
This was a short story set it the Sookie Stackhouse universe, but with all new characters. It was an enjoyable story. My rating: 4 Stars.

I thought I'd read this, but it turns out that the Charlaine Harris story is reprinted from Night's Edge (2004).
The Devil's Footprints (which I have not read) is reprinted from a standalone (2008).
As far as I can tell this is a trade paperback printing of two things you can find separately as (used) mass market paperbacks. Great if you want to read both, not good if you just want one of them or didn't know they were reprints.

I love Charlaine Harris and I have read a majority of her published works. It was nice to visit her world of vampires, but with new characters besides those in the Sookie Stackhouseseries.
Amanda Stevens was new to me, "The Devil's Footprints" was an unexpected delight! I usually guess the who done it ones and this was a real twist! Interesting plot twists and I enjoyed the ride.
