First book in Tim Myers latest series centered around a family owned soapmaking shop. As usual, Myers has a crop of interesting characters and infuses the plot with tidbits about how to make soap ( his other series deal with candlemaking and running an inn). A good cozy mystery.

A fast read, lots of soapmaking tidbits. Not the best written book in the world though...
It took me awhile to warm up to the characters in this murder mystery. The author's style isn't very descriptive. I would like more description of the scenes in the book. It's a bit plain and get's right to the point. Some relief arrived when Kelly became Ben's love interest. I'll read the next book in the series with some hope.

Great series- It is about a family soap making business. The oldest must take care of the family if it means solving a murder.
