This was a fun read, especially since it was based in San Francisco, my hometown. It was fun to read of the neighborhoods, hotels, and the fog. I thought it took long to handle all the characters in the 2nd third of the book, but maybe I was simply tired the nights I read it. The rich couple, the St. Georges, are ringers for Nick & Nora Charles. They provided a well-heeled ambience & sophistication in The City by the Bay.
