Not his best work, but definitely worth reading.

It was awful. I only stuck with it because I started it.
This is one of Stuart Woods best book outside of his continuing series books. Great story, interesting people and good plot.
This book was a page turner for me. It was full of action and twists mixed in with some romance and some humor. I enjoyed every moment of this book and I found it very hard to put down. It kept me going as to who the stalker/killer actually was right up to the very end.
I was a little dissapointed in this book . . . for some reason the "ever optimistic, cheary" disposition of the heroine just left me a little cold. No one faces this sort of challenge and doesn't have a bad patch. But I just adored her friend, Danny.
Twists at every turn!
One minute Chris Calloway was Hollywood's brightest rising start, starting a new picture that could send her career sky rocketing; the next she was falling from the unfinished deck of her house.. waking up blind, not sure if she would ever see again. Enjoyable and fun escapism.
great book

I really enjoyed this one. It kept me guessing until the end.
Page turner! Creepy stalker and great main and secondary characters. Fast paced and has a twist at the end.

Excellent!
Overall, this was a good mystery book. It was a quick read. The author's style of writing was a little too simple and formulatic, in my opinion
Good story. Actress on the brink of the big-time is blinded in an accident, and is being stalked by someone. Woods is a consistently good writer.
Young Hollywood actress Chris Callaway is poised at the brink of stardom when her world collapses. Shortly after she begins receiving disquieting letters signed "Admirer," she is nearly blinded in a fall at the construction site of her new Malibu home. As Admirer becomes a menacing stalker, sending gifts and a gruesome photo and calling on the phone, Chris is stoutly guarded by her best friend and confidant, hairdresser Danny Devere. Also on duty is Beverly Hills police detective and stalker expert Jon Larsen. The Admirer soon targets the threesome in escalating attacks that become grisly and, then, murderous.
predictable and very slow
Great suspense novel by Stuart Woods with a surprise ending.
Spine-tingling tale about an aspiring actress and an obsessive stalker
an enjoyable read
An excellent non-fiction description of the 1893 world fair intertwined with the story of a serial killer who used the fair to lure his victims to their deaths. It is particularly intriguing to see how he disposed of the bodies right in the middle of Chicago without beng detected.
great
Certainly not Mr. Woods' best. Predicable, yet unbelievable.
