Due to my interest in the military and the Far-East, I found this an interesting story. Alas, my primary suspect turned out not to be the killer.

However, the pathologist doesn't really seem to be the central character here. Perhaps the author had bigger plans for him in later novels in the series. But Bernard Knight seems to have stopped writing in 2012. As he is in his 90s now, I suspect this book will be the only book in a planned series.

Meanwhile, if you haven't read his "Crowner John" series, you really should.
