Another great visit to Maine's Gray Whale Inn. In this second story in the series, Innkeeper Natalie Barnes finds the body of one of her part-time employees, Polly Sarkes, in a cranberry bog, where Polly apparently committed suicide. But Natalie suspects foul play, and looks for answers. In addition to dealing with a possible murderer, Natalie is also juggling a ghost in her inn and an unexpected visit from her former fiance.
I really enjoy this series!
I really enjoy this series!
Couldn't put it down - light, lively, funny and exciting. Second in series and she gets better and better.
I honestly enjoy this series so much! This book is no exception. I found it interesting because of the location of where the series is at - very unfamiliar to me. I feel like I get to know the characters.

Natalie Barnes, owner of The Grey Whale B&B stumbles across the body of her part time helper from what appears to be a self inflicted gun shot wound.....the police are not really interested in investigating any further....but Natalie does not believe Polly Sarkes committed suicide.....when another death occurs Natalie and her friend a once again in the crosshairs of the police investigation..., Natalie's ex fiancé arrives on the scene to try to lure her back to Texas with him .Add to the excitement nightly noises in the attic of the Inn and legends of the ghost of a murdered woman who haunts the B&B .....a winner!
