Daydreams is a superlative thriller by a major new literary talent whose dramatic range and electric writing style will immediately evoke comparisons with such masters as Joseph Wambaugh and Elmore Leonard.

This is a story of Two New York detectives on a deadly rollercoaster ride of murder, betrayal and intrigue. It begins with the grisly, gut-wrenching murder of a high-class call girl who had the dangerous habit of keeping a book-an annotated list of her all too-prominent clients. Her death is a murder no one wants solved: neither the powerful N.Y.P.D. nor the myterious personages commanding the top-secret special hit-team that immediately flies in from Washington, D.C. The hunt is on all right-not for the killer, but for the dead woman's missing, and all-too-incriminating, client roster.
As a percaution, the N.Y.P.D. overlords assign the case to two detectives-Ellie Klein and her partner, Tommy Nardone-who are bothe discards from main-stream police divisions. Alone, divorced, disgraced, Ellie is struggling to reestablish both her personal and professional lives with this case, which increasingly smells of betrayal, lies and secrecy stemming from all levels of government. As the two detectives begin to unravel the complex past that can lead them to the murderer and the well-protected truths, they discover that their troubles are just beginning-the special hit-team is there, waiting to stop them.

Written with graphic immediacy, Daydreams rockets to a slambang, murderous finish that will have the spellbound reader frantically turning the pages.
